high on the list of things no one else cares about

The fictional names of spam senders are mostly amusing to the recipient and no one else, inasmuch as everyone has the opportunity to be (briefly) amused by these absurdities in their own overflowing inboxes. So I note almost entirely for my own amusement the email I received today from Grackle L. Pigging.

I've been working amongst truly epic numbers of birth certificates the past couple weeks, and I am positively bursting with hilarious names no one cares about. Like the woman I came across whose name is Darthula, or the little girl, who is five going on six now, wherever she is, whose name is Analysis, or the fact that there have been at least but probably more than twenty-four girls named Cadence born in Rhode Island since 2000.

I don't know what your job is, but in my ignorance I envy you immensely. I love names.

Names are nice. Doing a job that's a step up from data entry on the boring scale (the data's already been entered, I'm cleaning it up) is not so nice.

Found today: a girl whose lovely parents clearly went out of their way to give her the initials K.K.K.
