Michael Penn, "Long Way Down", directed by the Brothers Quay

This is my favorite music video, and it used to be lost (to me); never on youtube, and not on Brothers Quay compilations. But Velma found it on yahoo. Now I have to figure out how to download it.

I download videos on Firefox using Download Helper, an extension. I haven't tried it on Yahoo videos, but it works with YouTube, DailyMotion, and others. I'll go see if I can download this one, since it has your seal of approval.

New question: Have you heard Les Innocents?

I haven't! What are they like?

Kind of rich and dreamy, to me. The WFMU guy who handed it to me three years back called it "great, hook-drenched French pop." When I say 'handed it to me,' I mean provided the complete 1996 album 'post-partum' at this page:

Which saves me some trouble, as I was going to upload the files to YouSendIt and provide you with a link.

Whenever I listen to it, I wonder what you would think of it, and keep meaning to send it to you. I hope you'll like it. It's been on my iPod for three years.

I see my Download Helper is no help in downloading the Penn video. Sorry. I tried.

Then I looked for my favorite video to show you, but it's not on YouTube just now. It's Devo's "R U Experienced?" I might have to use the aforementioned file share to send it to you.
