Mão Morta -- Portuguese for "dead hand", based on (says Wikipedia) a traditional Portuguese* nursery rhyme -- has more than a dozen albums, and they are still going. "Carícias Malícias"** is from their first*** (eponymous) album.

*in other words, not Brazilian. They are from Braga, Portugal.
**google-translated: "caresses malice".
***they had a cassette-only release in 1987, also named Mão Morta, with four out of six the same songs as the vinyl issue the next year (but different recordings). When they did a CD issue, they added on the cassette versions as bonus tracks. "Carícias Malícias", anyway, was not on the cassette version.

That sounds a lot like Morphine. You're sure Mao Morta isn't Portugese for "morphine"?

Actually, I haven't listened to Morphine.

(Your comment didn't show up in my mailbox, damnit.)
