Another emergency Parlando Playlist entry. Another teenage happy* song.

This is my very first Jamaican 5-star album, Black Uhuru's Red. I love all eight songs. So, hmm, let me see, one song....

The first song: "Youth of Eglington".

This is a first in the Parlando playlist: Some one I've heard of (rare) AND I've owned a version of this song. Not "Red" itself, though.

Which album?

(Your comment didn't show up in my email. Weird.)

Probably a live or a dub album.

Duh, in fact I have that, or at least I did; it's on The Dub Factor, which I used to have on vinyl, thirty years ago.

I like that: cool groove, and little mini-earworm sound. What does 5-star mean in this context--is that a record label, or are you just saying it's top-notch?

The latter. I was saying that one was the first one that I gave 5 stars (out of five).

The label was Island (Chris Blackwell).
