Blackouts, Make No Mistake

Their first single. They had no albums in their lifetime; eventually, they had a compilation album long after they broke up, History in Reverse, on K Records in 2004.

Another Seattle post-punk band. I had the single, saw several concerts. I really can't judge this; it's tied up with my growing up.

I thought nobody except Seattleites knew them, but they had a minor following after they broke up because three of them -- except for the singer/guitarist -- were recruited by Al Jourgensen of Ministry when he put together the second, industrial-themed version of Ministry.

That's solid, although there's nothing about it that particularly breaks them out of the great unwashed post-punk masses. There's honor in being a good local band, I think.
