This track by the Benny Goodman Quartet was not exactly by the famed quartet that Goodman headed at this time, though it's included in The Complete RCA Victor Small Group Recordings. Gene Krupa had left the band. After Krupa left, sometimes Lionel Hampton switched from vibraphone to drums, as here. John Kirby was brought in to play the bass. Teddy Wilson still plays the piano.

"I Know That You Know" is a song written for a obscure (not even listed in Wikipedia, nor is it listed among the three Wikipedia pages devoted to its songwriters) 1926 Broadway musical called Oh, Please!, music by Vincent Youmans, lyrics by Anne Caldwell and Otto Harbach. The Goodman take is an instrumental, as are almost all jazz takes on this. You can read Jazz Standards' page in detail (though it is weird that they omit Harbach's name as songwriter, seeing how he's fairly famous).
